Demo 3, led by VTT, represents a landmark achievement in this technology area: an energy-autonomous all-printed IoT node. This laboratory demonstration illustrates the potential for this technology. Using red, green and blue filters, the node identities are coded when addressed using similarly filtered white LED test sources. This proof-of-concept set-up, integrated into the main SUPERIOT network, shows that it is possible to implement simple IoT functions using all-printed nodes, and is an exciting first step for the technology, made possible through the SUPERIOT project.
